XTURISMO Limited Edition Conducts Successful Water and Desert Rescue Simulation

A.L.I. Technologies Inc. (“A.L.I.” or the “Company”), a subsidiary company of AERWINS Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: AWIN) (“AERWINS”), the developer and manufacturer of air mobility platform, COSMOS (Centralized Operating System for Managing Open Sky), and the XTURISMO Limited Edition Hoverbike, has announced today that the XTURISMO Limited Edition, successfully completed a water and desert rescue simulation by driving on and near Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.

A.L.I. Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of AERWINS, and Yamanashi Prefecture signed an agreement on “Social Implementation of Air Mobility” in October 2021 to conduct research and development of air mobility as a means of transportation. The intent behind this agreement was to raise awareness of air mobility, its general use-cases, and its use in emergency relief situations. The demonstration conducted this time was designed for use cases native to Japan, yet applicable to other environments globally.

A.L.I. Technologies will continue to collaborate with Yamanashi Prefecture on verification experiments aimed at implementing air mobility in society, including its use for emergency relief.
