Leading CG industry companies come together to form a working group to promote remote work in CG animation production

A.L.I. Technologies Inc.(Main office: Tokyo, Minato-ku; CEO: Daisuke Katano; hereinafter A.L.I.) with several leading companies in the domestic CG industry, have established ProRemote, a working group for the purpose of exchanging views and developing the CG production technologies for a cloud-based, remote work environment.

As the world confronts the COVID-19 Pandemic, many companies are being forced to adopt alternative working styles. The purpose of ProRemote is to build a remote work environment that is specialized in the field of commercial animation, utilizing the functions of remote access, remote collaboration and cloud computing.

The five companies who have joined the ProRemote working group are already actively engaged in discussions to exchange views on a variety of topics including further developments and technological improvements, and expansion of the group to other companies and individuals.

Additionally, the group intends to continually release information regarding the future activities and initiatives.

Overview of A.L.I.
Initially, A.L.I. began as an AI-equipped drone designer and manufacturer, but expanded into various industries, creating products and services including a shared computing service that enables ultra-efficient computing power to be accessed worldwide, electric power solutions aimed at the promotion of sustainable energy, and the design, manufacture, and sale of the world’s first personal use hoverbike.
