GEEK PICTURES Inc. (Main office: Tokyo, Shibuya-ku; CEO: Tamotsu Kosano) and A.L.I. Technologies Inc. (Main office: Tokyo, Minato-ku; Chairman: Shuhei Komatsu; CEO: Daisuke Katano) have announced the launch of the Digital Artists Support Project to support young artists’ creative pursuits with the aim of developing a generation of artists who can play an active role in the industry on a global scale and expand the possibilities of digital expression.

The first step of the support program is to provide free use of the cloud rendering service, BULLET RENDER FARM, a service which supports Blender Cycles and Radeon™ ProRender, to content creators who live in Japan and are under the age of 20 to support their creation of 3D computer animated projects.
This service is a GPU-configured cloud rendering service that achieves high-speed, professional grade rendering.
The rendering service supports all the mainstream 3DCG production software including Blender®, Maya®, 3ds Max®, Houdini®, and Unreal Engine®, and works to contribute to support a wide range of content creators.
Details of the first stage of the support program will be announced via each company’s social media accounts.

[Support Outline]
A cloud service that enables high speed rendering in the computer graphics production process using an autonomous distributed algorithm. It operates within the world’s largest render-dedicated GPU farm.

Supported Renderers:
Blender Cycles Render
Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.
The software has been downloaded more than 10 million times in 2019, and has attracted a lot of positive attention, due to its dedicated community and frequent updates. It has also been used to produce professional CG productions that have been commercially released.

Radeon™ ProRender
Produced by U.S. based semiconductor manufacturer Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Radeon™ ProRender is a high-performance, physics-based rendering engine. The company regularly releases free plug-ins that can be used with major 3D production software. Even though it is available free of charge, the performance is extremely high, enabling users to create stunning photorealistic images using Global Illumination, exhibiting the high processing performance unique to hardware manufacturers.
