Construction of an Intellectual Property Portfolio

December 18, 2018－Tokyo. Aerial Lab Industries Inc. (“A.L.I.”, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Shuhei Komatsu and Daisuke Katano) has constructed a portfolio of 27 patents and other intellectual property that can be utilized for the construction of air infrastructure.

This includes 3D automatic route flight generation, which is indispensable mainly in the logistics field, 3D control functions including positional supplementation using LPWA, and a series of delivery systems that cover everything from a system that allows you to check the video you are watching from the drone at hand to an authentication function, to avoid collisions by going back and forth along a predetermined flight route.

By applying these technologies, it will be possible to detect the electromagnetic waves of electric wires and smoothly inspect them, as well as to extend their use to sports, such as route flight monitoring in various specific areas.

Through this portfolio we will contribute to further expand the sky infrastructure with the use of drones.
