Notice of Drone Department Co., Ltd. Becoming a Subsidiary

10.05.2018. Tokyo – Aerial Lab Industries Inc.（Abbr. A.L.I., Main office: Minato-ku, Tokyo. President: Shuhei Komatsu） has acquired one hundred percent of shares in Drone Department Inc. (Main office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative director: Kazuya Shiraishi) and made the Company their subsidiary.

Drone Department Inc. develops comprehensive services in drone related business, such as aerial video production, specialized media management (Dronekusatsu.com, Viva-drone.com), drone school management, drone specialist personnel dispatch and recruitment, etc.

In contrast, A.L.I. is engages in various technical developments using drones, such as search and rescue drones, and drones for infrastructure inspection, and provide business solutions for client companies that incorporate such technologies.

By making the Drone Department a subsidiary of A.L.I., we can acquire the expertise of their more than two hundred nation-wide pilots, and the collective knowledge of the drone school, to make more-complete business solutions possible.

The two companies will cooperate in areas such as technical development, operational support, and pilot dispatch for solutions that utilize drone, with the aim of providing solutions and services that are optimal for clients in their respective business areas in a timely manner.
