Support for Keisuke Honda’s Introduction of Drone Tests to Strengthen Cambodia’s National Team

9.13.2018. Tokyo－Aerial Lab Industries, Inc. (A.L.I.; Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, CEO and CTO: Shuhei Komatsu) is pleased to announce that A.L.I. will support professional soccer player and Cambodian national team GM Keisuke Honda’s drone installation at practice.

Specifically, we plan to use state-of-the-art drones to take aerial photographs of the Cambodian national team’s practice and red and white games, analyze the positioning of the pitch as a whole and the movements of individual players, and provide coaching with a focus on Keisuke Honda in order to strengthen cooperation, overcome individual players’ weaknesses, and strengthen their strategic eye.

The A.L.I. empathizes with Keisuke Honda’s desire to contribute to the establishment of a Cambodian soccer style and the dissemination of Cambodian culture, and as a result of discussions, the introduction of drones into the Cambodian national team’s practice sessions was realized.

A.L.I. will continue to work with Keisuke Honda to support the strengthening of the Cambodian national team, and at the same time, based on the results of this trial implementation, we will examine methods of utilizing drones specialized in the sports field and the implementation of their functions in the future, and establish a state-of-the-art training method.
